Porch Light Energize The Foundry on Halloween

Porch Light, an indie rock band out of Minneapolis took to the stage at The Foundry in Philadelphia on Halloween for a set filled with chaotic energy. First formed in 2024 the band has been cranking out hit after hit and developing a growing fan base. Members Jackie Uhas (vocals), Zac Fogarty (guitar), Kyle Siemon (guitar), Henry Hughes (bass), and Isaiah Trimbo create a hyponotizing performance together and Oct 31st was no exception.

The night started with fans filling the room in various Halloween costumes. To give a picture of the room…you could be simultaneously moshing with a vampire, Jim Halpert from The Office, and Stitch. The night opened with Nautics, a four piece alt rock band out of New York City. They have been rocking together since their were 16 years old and you can tell by their chemistry. They also took part in Halloween by dressing up as characters from Star Trek. Each song was amazing and they perform like a band who is already well established. They are super upbeat and brought the energy in the room up by 100%.

When Porch Light came on the lights dimmed down and the band’s name was broadcasted onto the stage in the classic Star Wars font. One by one each memebr came out – Luke Skywalker carrying Yoda, Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. Last to emerge was vocalist Jackie Uhas dressed as Darth Maul (full face paint and all). She sipped her Modelo and immediately started their set with the crowd was itching to scream along to. The whole room was exploding with energy and severe mosh pits were breaking out. Porch Light truly sound amazing together and the 5 peice band played through their songs from their newest album Hush along with some crowd favorites. Uhas even jumped the barricade and started singing in the crowd and crowd surged her way back to the stage. They truly engaged their audience and it was a great night.
