I wanted to start a playlist series to share with everyone songs that I love. I really enjoy curating playlists for a specific mood that I’m in or vibe that I’m feeling. With this playlist I wanted to capture 30 of my favorite angsty songs. The title – teen angst but plot twist you’re 27 – makes fun of all of us that are still listening to all the same songs that we used to listen to. There are no repeat bands, some songs are old and some new (yes new songs have come out since 2012 believe it or not). I say 2012 because this playlist cover photo is a joke about myself, a selfie that I took in 2012, heavily edited and put a fairly emo sounding phrase over top. “Live your life because every moment counts.” So spend one of those moments getting angsty with me and cry or yell along with your favorite bands.
