Alt Adjacent Music is a publication/blog started in 2026 by Sarah Swetz. Sarah wanted a place to share her love of live music and create a community of people who shared the same passion. The name “Alt Adjacent” is used because while our focus is the alternative scene we didn’t want to exclude any crossover into other genres.

Our founder’s true passion is live music photography, you can check out our photo galleries on this site as well. There is nothing better than reliving a show experience through the moments captured by a camera. You will also find posts related to concert reviews, album or song reviews, and tour information. We explore both emerging artists and established acts, ensuring that our audience always discovers fresh sounds.
