On March 6th, Games We Play released a new single “Is This What I’m Made Of”. The song is a perfect blend of depressed lyrics that question everything about your own existence and a catchy melody that makes the listener want to sing and dance along. Simultaneously, a music video for the single released that really hits home for a lot of people, at least it did for me. Focusing on going through the motions but feeling disconnected from your own life and asking “what am I really doing here?”. And yet with the music being upbeat with happy melodies and the use of horns throughout it captures the mask that many wear to hide these thoughts they have deep down. Emmyn Calleiro did a fantastic job with this song and I’m excited to see how the future plays out for Games We Play.
